International Women's Day is commemorated at the Cuban embassy in Nigeria.

Nigeria, March 11, 2023.- The group of the Cuban embassy in Nigeria organized a plan of activities to commemorate International Women's Day. On March 8, a small but moving meeting was held in the collective of the diplomatic headquarters to congratulate the Cuban and Nigerian women who daily put their efforts into fulfilling the work objectives of the Cuban state mission.

Nigeria, March 8, 2023.- The Cuban ambassador in this country, Clara M. Pulido Escandell was invited as part of the diplomatic corps accredited in Nigeria to participate in the celebration for International Women's Day, an activity organized by the Nigerian Foreign Ministry in Abuja.

Within the framework of it, a seminar was offered with the theme: "Digital: innovation and technology for gender equality", which highlights the need for inclusive and transformative technology and digital education among women and girls.

Cuban ambassador participates in meeting with former president Thabo Mbeki.

Nigeria, March 3th, 2023. The Cuban ambassador to this country, Clara M. Pulido Escandell, was invited to a meeting with former President Thabo Mbeki at the South African Embassy in Abuja, along with colleagues from the African diplomatic corps accredited to the country.

The exchange took place in a cordial atmosphere, it was conducive to addressing issues of common interest on regional and international news.

Ambassador of Cuba highlights the historical relations of friendship with the Nigerian trade union movement.

Nigeria, February 24, 2023.- The Cuban ambassador to Nigeria, Clara M. Pulido Escandell, offered an interview to journalist friends Christian Appolos from the Nigerian Tribune newspaper and John Moses from Blue Print.

During the meeting, the Cuban diplomat denounced the criminal and unfair blockade of the United States government against the Cuban people and explained how its extraterritorial essence seeks to affect relations between our countries and organizations.

Cuba invited to the 13th Quadrennial Conference of Delegates of the Nigerian Labor Congress.

Nigeria, February 9th, 2023.- The Cuban ambassador to Nigeria, Clara M. Pulido Escandell, participated in the 13th Conference of delegates of the Nigerian Labor Congress (NLC) held yesterday in Abuja.

At the meeting of one of the largest Nigerian Trade Unions, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, current vice-president of the country, was the guest of honor, who gave the inaugural speech describing the NLC as a true pan-Nigerian organization.

Ambassador of Cuba in Nigeria held a fruitful meeting with the representative of international relations of the Senate.

Ndaliman, President of the Institute for the Development of Scientific Teams-Minna, accompanied by Cuba's friend and businessman Dr. John Tor.
