London, Nov 18 (Prensa Latina) A new edition of the film festival Screen Cuba: Films to Change the World is in the works in the United Kingdom and promises to showcase part of the Caribbean island’s extensive cinematographic production.
The event will screen films that are part of the best of Cuban cinema from the 1960s to date, according to Cuban diplomatic sources.
Artists and solidarity groups in the United Kingdom are celebrating Cuban Culture Day with musical performances, exhibitions and displays of solidarity, highlighting Cuba's rich cultural heritage in the world.
On the occasion of Cuban Culture Day, a series of artistic activities have taken place in London and other British cities, ranging from musical performances to photo exhibitions, which pay tribute to Cuba's identity and cultural heritage. These celebrations will continue until next 20th October.
