Embassy of Cuba in Syria hosts activity of Syrian teachers and students of Spanish language

SYRIA, April 27, 2017.- The Embassy of Cuba in Syria held a friendly exchange with professors and students of the Hispanic Center of the University of Damascus, in commemoration of the 5th Anniversary of its creation.

The meeting was attended by government officials, Baath Party and Syrian Parliament, Spanish-speaking representatives of the Diplomatic Corps and International Organizations accredited in Damascus as well as Syrian professionals graduated in Cuba and Cuban citizens residing in Syria.

Ulaan Bator, January 9, 2017. The Minister of Education, Culture, Science and Sports, Mr. J. Batsuuri, received at the headquarters of that institution the Cuban Ambassador Raúl Delgado Concepción, and thanked the cooperation that Cuba has offered to Mongolia on scholarships for higher education for young Mongols.

Cubans and Barbadians celebrate the Day of the National Culture of Cuba.

With the presence of officials who traveled from Havana to celebrate this important occasion and other major events such as Sadia Acosta Brooks, from the Ministry of Culture (MINCULT) and Yamil Martinez, from the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), the Embassy of Cuba summoned the Barbadian friends and the community of Cuban residents to a multifaceted activity in the framework of the Day for National Culture Day, held at the Art Gallery of Errol Barrow Center for Creativity and Imagination (EBCCI).

Cuban dancers invited to perform during the 25th Anniversary of Israel Lovell Foundation

Cuban contemporary dancers, Yuleisy Linares and Yunier Hernandez, both teachers and soloists of the JJ Traditional Dance Company, participated as special guests in the artistic cultural festival organized by the Israel Lovel Foundation to celebrate its 25th Anniversary in Bridgetown during the second half of August. Their outstanding performance was highlighted by the Barbadian press having a rave review.
