Cuban Ambassador to Cyprus signs book of condolences at the Libyan Embassy. 

The Cuban Ambassador to Cyprus, Angel Gustavo Suarez Cordero attended the Libyan Embassy to pay tribute to the victims of the recent natural disaster in Libya. 
In the Ambassador's message, on behalf of the Cuban people and government, on his own behalf and also on behalf of the Embassy's collective, he expressed the most heartfelt condolences to the people and government of Libya for the loss of human and material lives following the passage of the storm Daniel. At the same time he showed his respect to the families and relatives of the victims. 

President of the World Federation of Trade Unions Pambis Kyritsis received the Ambassador of Cuba in Cyprus. 

In the morning of September 13, the President of the World Federation of Trade Unions Pambis Kyritsis received at the headquarters of that institution the Ambassador of Cuba in Cyprus Angel Gustavo Suáres Cordero. During the pleasant meeting they exchanged on the impressions of Pambis for the Latin American region where he visited Cuba, Mexico, Peru and Brazil. Pambis once again expressed his solidarity with the Cuban people and government in the face of the unjust, inhuman and genocidal U.S.

Reception on the day of the Constitution of the Slovak Republic and 30th anniversary of relations with Cyprus

Cuban Ambassador Angel Gustavo Suarez Cordero participated in the reception for the Constitution Day of the Slovak Republic and the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Cyprus and Slovakia held at the Municipal Theater of Nicosia. 

The event was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus, His Excellency Constantinos Kombos. 

The Ambassador of the Caribbean island conveyed his congratulations to the Ambassador of Slovakia in Cyprus, Martin Bezak for the celebration of such important dates for his country.

STATEMENT BY THE MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS

Cuba counters human trafficking operations aimed for military recruitment purposes.

The Ministry of the Interior has detected and it is working to neutralize and dismantle a human trafficking network that operates from Russia in order to incorporate Cuban citizens living there and even some living in Cuba, into the military forces that participate in military operations in Ukraine. Attempts of this nature have been neutralized and criminal proceedings have been initiated against those involved in these activities.

The Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba call for the II Festival of Culture with Cubans Living Abroad "Cuba goes with me", from November 2 to 12, 2023.

This edition will be a new opportunity for Cuban artists and intellectuals living in other countries to share their art with the Cuban public and with those who visit us. Based on the cultural richness that unites us, we will highlight the work of cultural personalities with consolidated careers abroad and talented young people who are bearers of our identity.
