Cuban delegation participating in the Second Congress of the Prosperity Party pays tribute to Cuban combatants who fell in defense of Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, February 4, 2025. – In an emotional ceremony held at the Park of Friendship between the peoples of Ethiopia and Cuba, the Member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and Head of the Department of Services, Yudí Mercedes Rodríguez Hernández, paid tribute to the 163 Cuban combatants who fell in defense of Ethiopia's territorial integrity.

Addis Ababa, February 4, 2025.- As part of her official visit to Ethiopia on the occasion of the celebration of the Second Congress of the Prosperity Party, the Member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and Head of the Department of Services, Yudí Mercedes Rodríguez Hernández, held a fruitful meeting with the leadership of the Associations of Friendship with Cuba in Ethiopia,  Ethiopian-Cubans and Cubans residing in the country, reaffirming the solid bond of brotherhood between the two nations.

Official visit of the member of the PCC Secretariat to Addis Ababa concludes strengthening bilateral ties

Addis Ababa, February 4, 2025.- The visit of the Cuban delegation to Ethiopia on the occasion of the celebration of the Second Congress of the Prosperity Party, from January 31 to February 4, 2025, headed by the Member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, Yudí Mercedes Rodríguez Hernández,  culminated today with the farewell at the Bole International Airport by the Deputy Minister of Water and Energy, Mr. Motuma Mekassa, and the Ambassador of Cuba to Ethiopia, Meylin Suárez Álvarez.
