Finland-Cuba Association highlights greetings for the 66th Anniversary of the Revolution and condemns the US blockade
The President of the Finland-Cuba Association, Matti Siltala, shared a greeting message on behalf of the Organization for the 66th Anniversary of the Cuban Revolution. In his words spread on social media, the Finnish friend rejects the inclusion of Cuba in the spurious list of States sponsoring terrorism and the US blockade policies. "In the Association we are well aware of Cuba's national and global achievements, as well as the difficult situation that the country is going through due to the illegal economic embargo, as well as the unfair and incorrect practice of including Cuba in the list of States that supposedly sponsor terrorism" Siltala highlights in his message, which has been replicated by the Cuban Foreign Ministry.
Cuban talent in Finland stands out at Cultural Evening for the 66th Anniversary of the Revolution
The cultural evening "66th Anniversary of the Revolution" held last Friday at the Cuban Embassy in Finland was led by members of the Cuban community residing in this country, with an outstanding career in the artistic world. The cultural part of the event featured the Cuban talent of choreographer Juan Pujals -recognized since his time on the Tropicana stages- and his dance group "Havana Pink." Also featured was the duo Trova-Son, who with Daniel "El Flecha" and Tero Toivanen showed the richness of the Cuban national repertoire to the more than 70 attendees at the event, including authorities from the Finnish Foreign Ministry, members of the Diplomatic Corps, friends of solidarity and Cubans residing in this Nordic nation. To all of them and the twenty members of our community residing in this Nordic nation present at the event, Ambassador Beatriz Parra and Consul Adalberto Ávila shared messages of gratitude for their love for Cuba despite the distance and for magnifying the name of our country from Finland.

Cuba expresses gratitude to Latvia for its support against the US blockade
A review of the bilateral issues was carried out by Ambassador Beatriz Parra González, in a virtual exchange with the Director of Latin America and the Caribbean of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia, HE Ms. Inga Krastina, at which time she highlighted gratitude to Latvia's support for the Cuban Resolution against the blockade and signified the recent March of the Combatant People where 500 thousand Havana residents protested in front of the US Embassy to demand the exclusion of the Island of the alleged List of State Sponsors of Terrorism, a show of popular support for the Government in the midst of the intense adversities generated by the financial persecution and economic asphyxiation that the country faces, organized from Washington.
