President of Latvia receives Credentials from the new Ambassador of Cuba
Helsinki, June 20th, 2018. The President of the Republic of Latvia, His Excellency Mr. Raimonds Vējonis, received on June 19th, in a solemn audience held at the Riga Castle, official Residence of the President, the new Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, H.E. Mr. Eduardo Lazo Pérez, who presented the Credentials that accredits him in those functions.

During her visit to Finland, Cuban deputy Mariela Castro Espín held a meeting on May 28 with H.E Mr. Jukka Pietikäinen, Finnish Ambassador to Cuba, resident in Helsinki, who was accompanied by Ms. Anu Korppi, deputy director of the Unit for Latin America and Caribbean of the Ministry of Foreigns Affairs of Finland; Mrs. Janina Hasenson, deputy director of the Unit in charge of the Human Rights Policy and H.E Mrs. Anne Meskanen, Ambassador for Equality Affairs at the Ministry.
