Washington, April 16, 2024 - On April 16, 2024, representatives of Cuba and the United States held bilateral migration talks in Washington DC.
Deputy Foreign Minister Carlos Fernández de Cossío Domínguez headed the Cuban delegation and Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for the State Department's Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs Eric Jacobstein led the U.S. delegation.
Cuban Ambassador to Ghana meets with officials from the University of Cape Coast.
Cape Coast, April 11, 2024. - The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the Republic of Ghana, Anette Chao García, met with officials of the University of Cape Coast to discuss mutually beneficial future projects. Among the officials she met were the Chancellor of the University, Dr. Sir. Samuel Esson Jonah; Chairman of the Governing Council, Prof. Harold Amonoo-Kuofi; and the Dean of International Relations, Dr. Samuel Bert Boadi-Kusi.

Havana, April 1, 2024.- The Special Rapporteurs of the UN Human Rights Council on the Right to Food, the Right to Development, Extreme Poverty and the Negative Impact of Unilateral Coercive Measures on the enjoyment of Human Rights, in an unprecedented communication, have formally described the blockade imposed by the United States against Cuba, aggravated by the country's inclusion on the list of countries sponsoring terrorism, as a serious violation of International Law, including the principle of non-compliance.
