Cuban Ambassador to Ghana receives Kwaku Bediako.

Accra, April 26, 2024. - The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the Republic of Ghana, H.E. Anette Chao García, received Ghanaian fashion designer Kwaku Bediako, who is the creator of the internationally recognized brand Chocolate.

 

During the exchange Kuaku Bediako presented the new line of designs called Cocoa, inspired by the responsible use of waste generated by the fashion industry, to mitigate the consequences that are generated each year to the environment.

 

Ghanaian Solidarity donates to Quisicuaba Social Project.

Havana, April 25, 2024. - The Ghanaian Trade Union Congress, TUC, represented their country with a large delegation in the May Day Brigade in Cuba. Before their departure, they agreed to carry, as part of their luggage, over 200 kilograms of medicines which were donated by the Svani Group to the people of Cuba.

 

Díaz-Canel to participate in the 23rd ALBA-TCP Summit.

Havana, April 24th, 2024. - Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, will participate in the XXIII Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America - Peoples' Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP), which will take place today in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

 

Cubans living in Ghana strengthen ties.

Accra, 20 April 2024. - Solidarity among fellow Cubans took centre stage in the first days of the second half of April as several members of the Association of Cubans living in Ghana, "Cuba Nuestra", mobilised in response to concerns about the health condition of one of our compatriot.

 

Statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba

Between April 19th and 21st, 2024, 248 Cuban citizens who had travelled to the Republic of Haiti on private business were transferred to Cuba. It was a coordinated operation by the Cuban authorities with the support of the Cuban Embassy in Haiti and the permanent accompaniment of officials from our diplomatic mission.
