Accra, November 14, 2023. - The Vice President of the Republic of Cuba, Salvador Valdés Mesa paid a visit to the former President of Ghana, John Kufuor, as part of his official programme to the African country. During the meeting, the Cuban leader offered his condolences, on behalf of the people and the Government of Cuba, for the recent death of the former first lady, Theresa Kufuor.

The meeting also brought together members of the Cuban resident community, graduates in Cuba, friends of parliament, businessmen and diplomatic representatives.

Accra, October 9, 2023. - The Friendship Medal was presented today at the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in the Republic of Ghana to His Excellency Mr. Kojo Owusu Gyamadua Amoo-Gottfried who was Ambassador of the Republic of Ghana to the Republic of Cuba from 1982 to 1989.

Accra, October 6, 2023 - The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the Republic of Ghana, Anette Chao Garcia, was welcomed by the Minister of Trade and Industries of Ghana, Hon. Kobina Tahir Hammond, at the headquarters of his Ministry in Accra. The meeting was also attended by the Director General of the Ministry, Mr. Patrick Yaw Nimo.
