Meeting with a Ghanaian filmmaker

As part of the activities on the occasion of the Africa Day, a representation of the Cuban Embassy, led by the Ambassador Pedro Luis Despaigne González, went to the home of Mr. King Ampaw, an important Ghanaian filmmaker, who has been awarded at important events in Africa and Europe.

Your Excellencies,

Esteemed President Ilham Aliyev,

Distinguished Heads of State and Government,

I thank Azerbaijan, the Chairman of the Non-Aligned Movement, for calling to this meeting to exchange on the urgent and needed efforts which allow us to face COVID-19.

I avail myself of this occasion to congratulate Uganda, which shall assume the NAM Chairmanship in the year of 2022. While assuring it Cuba´s full support, we wish Uganda success in the performance of such duty.

Embassy of Cuba congratulates Ghanaian workers on International Workers' Day

On the occasion of International Workers' Day, the Cuban Ambassador, Pedro Luis Despaigne González, sent a message of congratulations to the Ghanaian workers on behalf of the staff of the embassy, which was addressed to the Trades Union Congress-Ghana (TUC), which has stood out for its solidarity with Cuba in its historic battle against the blockade.

Embassy of Cuba in Ghana celebrates May Day event

The staff of the embassy of Cuba in Ghana, led by Ambassador Pedro Luis Despaigne González, paid tribute to all the workers in the world, and especially to the Cuban workers who actively participate in the confrontation to the new coronavirus COVID-19.

In the simple act, the validity of the concept of the Revolution, pronounced by Fidel on 1st May, 2000, was highlighted. The Cuban staff repudiated the attack perpetrated against the Cuban embassy in the United States of America and ratified its commitment to the Revolution. (Cubaminrex / Embacuba Ghana)
