Havana, February 17, 2021.- Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla will participate virtually in the Special Ministerial Meeting on the elimination of racism, xenophobia and discrimination for all in the decade of action of the Sustainable Development Goals, which will take place this Thursday, February 18 at the United Nations headquarters in New York.

Statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba The Embassy of Cuba in Colombia received information -whose credibility could not be assessed- in relation to an alleged military attack by the Oriental War Front of the ELN that would take place in the course of the next few days in Bogotá. The ELN’s Peace Delegation in Havana was immediately advised of said information. The ELN’s Peace Delegation claimed it was completely unaware of it and provided reiterated assurances that it had absolutely no involvement in the military decisions or operations of the organization.
Cuba expects the US gov't. to review position after false accusations
Cuba expects on Friday that the US government's decisions concerning its embassy in Havana will be reversed after the release of a report that evidences the false accusations against the country.
The deputy director general of the US in Cuba's Foreign Ministry Johana Tablada referred to a State Department report that considered as improper the decisions of the Trump administration (2017-2021) regarding alleged sonic attacks against officials of its diplomatic mission in Havana.
Cuba maintains its willingness to cooperate to find a solution and expects that the measures taken under false pretexts will be reversed, the diplomat told the Cuban News Agency.
