Cuban Culture Day in Greece
Athens, 20 October. Proud to be Cuban we celebrate today October 20th the Day of Cuban Culture. In this context, friends of the José Martí Cultural Association of solidarity with Cuba, will conduct an event against the unjust economic, commercial and financial blockade of the United States against Cuba and show once again their support for the Cuban revolution.

Athens, 19 October. On October 17th, an important event of solidarity with Cuba was held in the Greek city of Larissa, called "CUBA: The Revolution in The Health of the People and Its Internationalist Dimension", organized by the Communist Party of Greece (KKE)). Elyseos Venegas, head of KKE's international relations department, and Cuba's ambassador to Greece Zelmys Maria Dominguez Cortina took the floor.

Cuba reports 38 new cases of COVID-19, two deaths
The Cuban Ministry of Public health announced the diagnoses of 38 new cases of COVID-19 and two fatalities over the last 24 hours, bringing to 6 258 the number of people who have contracted the disease and 127 deaths on the island since the beginning of the pandemic.

José Martí the National Hero of Cuba said that "being educated is the only way to be free." And the Cuban revolution since its triumph in January 1959, prioritized the development of culture in Cuban society as a way to expand knowledge and culture in order to strengthen our traditional cultural values and create new values associated with the new socialist society that we are building.
Numerous have been the achievements over more than 60 years of revolution and the name of Cuba is recognized worldwide for the cultural values of its people.
This year we will have a journey dedicated to Cuban culture from October 10th to 20th.

Anyone who wants to see without many words solidarity with Cuba that fights and supports its heroic people, who spend a few minutes and look at these images.
All these people have spoken in Athens against the unjust, genocidal, and uncivilized blockade imposed by the United States government on the people of Cuba, signing in handwriting a mural where they leave their position in writing and voluntarily (it is clarified that they are images somewhat earlier than the pandemic stage, many of them not published before).
