Cuba demands US respect its sovereignty
The General Director in charge of the United States at the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Carlos Fernandez de Cossio, affirmed that Cuba will defend its sovereignty against the aggressions the United States currently intensifies.

I thank the Pro-Tempore Secretariat of Andorra for the successful celebration of this meeting and the wise way in which the Conference activities have been conducted, even amidst the exceptional circumstances imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic. The WFTU successfully held an International Web Symposium of Solidarity with the Palestinian People
Athens, November 30th, 2020. On the occasion of November 29, International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, the WFTU organized an International Solidarity Symposium with the participation of Palestinian and international delegates: Palestinian trade unionists, trade union cadres from Middle East, Europe, Asia and Latin America, the Ambassador of Palestine in Athens, Mr. Marwan Toubassi, the Ambassador of Cuba in Athens, Ms. Zelmys María Domínguez Cortina, ICATU General Secretary, Ghassan Ghosn and OATUU Deputy General Secretary, Valentine Udeh took part in the Symposium, which opened with a greeting speech of the WFTU General Secretary, comrade George Mavrikos. All the Palestinian leading cadres, members and friends of the WFTU actively participated in the Symposium.

Cuba confirms 51 cases of Covid-19
Havana, Nov 30, 2020.- The Cuban Ministry of Public Health reported today that 51 people were detected on the Caribbean island with the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which causes Covid-19.
