Culture and politics foster changes in Cuba-US relations
Havana, Jul 19, 2020.- The call to lift the US economic blockade against Cuba and to recognize the Caribbean nation's health personnel with Nobel Peace Prize are the focus of today's speeches by some activists, politicians, artists and intellectuals from around the world.
Dozens of renowned figures from the United States, Canada, Europe and Africa joined the online Concert for Cuba, an initiative by the Chicago Hot House and supported by the Cuban Music Institute and the Ministry of Culture.
It was published in Greece a new book on Cuba, in the Greek language. The third in less than a year.
The Greek publishing house (TOPOS) has just launched a new book on Cuba in Greece composed of more than 50 articles by different Greek and Cuban authors. It has 479 pages, as well as graphic and photographic material.

Cuba reports no new cases of COVID-19 over the past 24 hours
Havana, July 20, 2020 -- The National Director of Epidemiology of the Cuban Ministry of Public Health, Dr. Francisco Duran, reported that there were no new cases detected of COVID-19, for a total of 2,445 positive cases across the island.
Cuba defends fair causes in Human Rights Council
Geneva, Switzerland, Jul 18, 2020.- Cuba defended the sovereignty of peoples and the fight against poverty and climate change at the 44th regular session of the Human Rights Council, a forum held here from June 30 to July 17.
