We thank Velisarios Kossivakis for the initiative, and all the Greek friends, who have signed the application to award the Nobel Peace Prize for The Cuban Medical Brigades. This shows the admiration of Greek friends for Cuba who know how to value the true solidarity of the Cuban people, and belies the campaigns of slander against our doctors.

The Olympic Federation, a prestigious Greek organization that promotes the values and history of Olympics as a language and bridge of peace in the world, invited to the Greek art exhibition, which has been on display since last June 22 in Athens, in greeting "The Route of the Olympic Truce", two photographs belonging to the photographic exhibition "José Martí: with Greece in the heart" , of the councillor and consul of the Embassy of Cuba in Greece José Oriol Marrero Martinez, present at the ceremony.

Havana, June 23, 2020. - The National Director of Epidemiology of the Cuban Ministry of Public Health, Dr. Francisco Duran, reported that there were three new cases detected of COVID-19, for a total of 2,318 positive cases across the island.

Havana, June 21, 2020-- The statistics that are religiously reported every morning show a nation with remarkably low rates in the battle against COVID-19, although the battle for life continues.
The President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel, spoke of the hopeful numbers at the meeting he leads every day with Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz. The four cases that were reported, he said, is the lowest number of positives in a day after we reached the peak of the epidemic. At other times we had five, six, but four is the lowest.
