The Covid-19 pandemic confirmed, emphatically but also tragically, the impotency of the capitalist system to satisfy the contemporary popular needs. In Europe, in the USA, in Latin American countries, such as Brazil, the results of Health’s commercialization have been painful for the people.
Cuban medical brigades and their solidarity work in Africa and the world.
Athens, 14 June. An important event was held organized by the publishing house Diethness Vima (International Forum) where the book Red Zone: Cuba and the Battle against Ebola in West Africa, published in Spanish and English by Pathfinder Press, was presented in the Serafio complex of the municipality of Athens. At the event the floor was taken by the Ambassador of Cuba Zelmys Maria Dominguez Cortina; Nikos Karandreas, honorary professor of medicine at the University of Athens; Sofia Roupaka, biologist and teacher; Shafiq Ahmed, physician and member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Pakistan; as well as George Mehrabian who presented the event on behalf of the publisher.

Havana, June 13, 2020-- The National Director of Epidemiology of the Cuban Ministry of Public Health, Dr. Francisco Duran, reported that there were 5 new cases detected of COVID-19, for an total of 2,238 positive cases across the island.

Havana, June 14 -- The National Director of Epidemiology of the Cuban Ministry of Public Health, Dr. Francisco Duran, reported that there were 10 new cases detected of COVID-19, for a total of 2,248 positive cases across the island.
