Cuban president says COVID-19 figures improving significantly
Havana, June 21, 2020-- The statistics that are religiously reported every morning show a nation with remarkably low rates in the battle against COVID-19, although the battle for life continues.
The President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel, spoke of the hopeful numbers at the meeting he leads every day with Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz. The four cases that were reported, he said, is the lowest number of positives in a day after we reached the peak of the epidemic. At other times we had five, six, but four is the lowest.
Human Rights Council adopts three resolutions on Cuba's proposal
Geneva, 21 June 2020. The 43rd session of the United Nations Human Rights Council adopted last Friday three resolutions on Cuba's proposal on the impact of external debt on the enjoyment of human rights, the right to food and cultural rights.

Cuba detects 3 new cases of COVID-19 over the past 24 hours
The National Director of Epidemiology of the Cuban Ministry of Public Health, Dr. Francisco Duran, reported that there were three new cases detected of COVID-19, for a total of 2,312 positive cases across the island.

Cuba detects 4 new cases of COVID-19 over the past 24 hours
Havana, June 20, 2020- The National Director of Epidemiology of the Cuban Ministry of Public Health, Dr. Francisco Duran, reported that there were 4 new cases detected of COVID-19, for a total of 2,309 positive cases across the island.
