Solidarity with Cuba in the Congress of the Communist Party of Greece.
Athens, June 24. The general secretary of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) Dimitris Koutsoumpas, expressed in his inaugural speech of the 21st Congress of the KKE the solidarity of his party with the heroic Cuban people and condemned the criminal economic, commercial and financial blockade of the United States against Cuba, also praising the victory obtained in the United Nations General Assembly with the vote of the Cuban resolution against that genocidal blockade.
The XIX ALBA-TCP Summit held in Caracas
Havana, June 24, 2021.- Within the framework of the commemoration of the Bicentennial of the Battle of Carabobo, the XIX Summit of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-Trade Treaty of the Towns (ALBA-TCP).
United in an alliance for life and independence, the Heads of State and Government and other representatives present, examined the current challenges in the region and the situation derived from the COVID-19 pandemic.
ALBA-TCP ratifies commitment to Latin American integration
Caracas, Jun 25, 2021.- The Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-People's Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP) renewed its commitment to unity and cooperation in the face of threats to the stability of the region.
At the end of the XIX Summit of Heads of State and Government of ALBA-TCP, held in Caracas, the high authorities of the bloc ratified the will for a genuine Latin American and Caribbean integration which will make it possible to confront the pretensions of imperialist domination.
The US blockade against Cuba was condemned in the presentation of a new book on Che in Greece.
Athens, June 23. The presentation of the book "Che Guevara, ambassador of the revolution", published by the publishing house "Atexnos", was held in Athens. The author is Nikos Mottas, a great friend of Cuba, Secretary General of the Hellenic-Cuban Friendship Association of Thessaloniki.
The important event became an act of solidarity with Cuba and condemnation of the criminal economic, commercial and financial blockade of the United States against Cuba. It coincided with the vote in the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) for the Cuban resolution against the blockade, the results of which, with the Cuban victory for another year, were reported to the delight of the attendees.
Cuban Foreign Minister cataloges the vote against blockade as a great victory
United Nations, June 23, 2021.- The Cuban Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodríguez, cataloged this Wednesday the vote in the United Nations General Assembly against the United States blockade as a great victory for the island's people.
In his Twitter account, he highlighted that 184 countries spoke out in favor of the elimination of this economic siege, which he described as a triumph of justice and truth.
