The farce of the debate on Cuba in the European Parliament
Brussels, 7 June 2021. The European Parliament has scheduled for Tuesday 8 June an artificial debate on what it is pleased to call “the political and human rights situation in Cuba” If this body indeed decides to discuss Cuba, the debate should clearly center on the massive, flagrant and systematic violation of the human rights of the entire Cuban population resulting from the genocidal, immoral and illegal economic, commercial and financial blockade maintained by Washington against our country for over 60 years.
Meeting between the president of the parliamentary group of Friendship with Cuba and the Cuban ambassador to Greece
Athens, June 2. The president of the parliamentary group of Friendship with Cuba in the Hellenic Parliament Dionysios Aktypis and the ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the Hellenic Republic Zelmys María Dominguez Cortina, accompanied by the counselor of the Embassy José Oriol Marrero Martinez, held a working meeting at the headquarters of the Cuban embassy.
They reaffirm solidarity with Cuba in Athens.
Athens, May 30. The publishing house Diethnes Vima (International Forum) organized the presentation of the Greek version of the book: “Our history is still being written. The story of three Chinese Cuban generals in the Cuban revolution" By Armando Choy, Gustavo Chui and Moises Sio Wong. The book has also been published in Spanish, English, Farsi, French, Chinese and now in Greek.

At the planetary level, numerous legislatures, parliamentary groups, organizations, entities and individuals are demanding intensely these days the elimination of the blockade against our country, a criminal policy that demonstrates its much more genocidal nature in times of the COVID-19 pandemic.
