Appeal of the International Relations Commission of the National Assembly of People's Power of the Republic of Cuba
The International Relations Commission of the National Assembly of People's Power of the Republic of Cuba thanks all the parliaments, parliamentary groups, organizations, entities and individuals that, in any part of the world, have spoken in recent months in favor of the lifting of the economic, commercial and financial blockade of the United States against Cuba, and expresses its appreciation for the support that practically all the governments of the world give every year to the demand made by the United Nations General Assembly to put an end to this cruel and illegitimate policy.

The National Assembly of People's Power (ANPP) held a parliamentary hearing on Friday for the lifting of the blockade. "Cuba facing two pandemics", this meeting was named, called by the commissions of International Relations, Constitutional and Legal Affairs, and Health and Sports of the Cuban legislature.
As reported by the Cuban Parliament on its official Facebook page, the meeting was attended by the member of the Political Bureau and president of the ANPP, Esteban Lazo Hernández, as well as other deputies and guests, who denounced the effects of this genocidal policy imposed by the US government for more than six decades against our people, and for the sake of their final elimination.
