Health Cooperation

The highest authorities of Saint Kitts and Nevis praise the work of Cuban medical personnel in the Federation.

When once again an attempt is made to demoralize the humanistic and solidarity work of international medical collaboration by the United States Department of State, with Marco Rubio at the head, an avalanche of reactions has been generated during the last month, mainly among our Caribbean brothers and sisters, who refuse to relegate Cuban medical services, that have sustained their health systems for more than two decades.

Cuba and Saint Kitts and Nevis are committed to continuing cooperation in health matters.

On this Thursday afternoon, the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba David Rivero Pérez and the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Health of this Federation, Curtis Martin, held a working meeting at the headquarters of the Ministry itself.

The main objective of the meeting was aimed at reviewing the current cooperation agreement, which will be renewed in the coming months, based on the will of both parties to continue strengthening ties in this matter, which have now been in place for three decades.
