India-Cuba Dialogue held in the state of Kerala
The Charge d'Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in India, Abel Aballe Despaigne, presided over the Cuba-India Dialogue 2024, organized by the Indian Economic Trade Organization (IETO) and the Cuba Business Bureau in Kerala. From the Indian side, K G Anil Kumar, IETO Trade Commissioner for Cuba Business in Kerala; Wali Kashvi, IETO Vice President; as well as representatives from the tourism, manufacturing and food industries were present.
Cuba elected "Most Promising New Destination" at travel fair in India.
Cuba was selected as the "Most Promising New Destination" at Asia's leading travel fair, OTM, held in the Indian city of Mumbai, Maharastra state, from February 8 to 10. The award was received by Elizabeth Cristina Vela, the Tourism Counselor for Asia, during a closing session of the Fair. Also present were Abel Aballe Despaigne, Chargé d'Affaires of the Cuban Embassy in India, as well as representatives of Cuban travel agencies Havanatur and Cubatur.
Cuba participates in India's Tourism Fair
Cuba is participating for the first time in the India Tourism Fair, the largest of its kind in the Asian region, which takes place from February 8 to 10 in the city of Mumbai, in the state of Maharastra. This event hosts more than 600 exhibitors from almost 70 countries every year.
Cuba has a 50-square-meter stand and its main objective is to promote Cuba as a destination in the Indian market.
Cuba participates in Spanish Olympiad in New Delhi
The Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in India participated in the 4th Edition of the Spanish Olympiad of India held at the Cervantes Institute in New Delhi and organized by Vivos Education, an organization that provides Spanish language courses; in collaboration with Embassies of Latin American countries.
Cuba participates in Diplomatic Bazaar in Delhi.
Last Saturday, February 3, the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in India participated in the 2024 edition of the "Diplomatic Bazaar", an event organized by the Delhi Commonwealth Women's Association (DCWA) and the diplomatic community residing in the Indian capital, to support the charitable activities of DCWA, specifically health care institutions.
