Memorandum of Cooperation between Cuba and Ireland comes into force
Ireland, 24 August 2017. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Ireland has confirmed the completion of the corresponding internal processes for the entry into force on 9 August 2017 of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Cuba and the Government of Ireland signed in Havana by the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment of Cuba Antonio Luis Carricarte Corona and the Minister of State for Justice of Ireland Deputy David Stanton.

Meeting of Ambassador with Parliamentary Group of Friendship Ireland Cuba
Ireland 22 June 2017. The second meeting of Ambassador Hermes Herrera with the Friendship Group with Cuba in the Irish Parliament, made up of representatives of all the political forces that make up the legislative body, took place yesterday afternoon.
The Ambassador explained details of the blockade, the Cuban economic model and issues such as the measures announced by the US president, the statement of the Revolutionary Government on the matter and the Press Conference of Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla from Vienna.
Commemorated in Ireland Anniversary of Fall in Combat of José Martí
Ireland, May 20, 2017. At a meeting at the Residence of the Cuban Embassy in Dublin, resident Cubans and their children paid tribute to National Hero Jose Marti on the 122nd anniversary of his fall in combat.
In the activity were offered Martians poems to the infants, who could also enjoy Cuban music, games and goodies.
The event was attended by Ambassador Hermes Herrera and Minister Ana Rosa Rojas.
