Tribute to Che on the 50th. Anniversary of his death
Ireland, October 9, 2017. With an event called "Che abú Festival" during the days 6 to 8 of October, a heartfelt tribute to Ernesto Che Guevara took place in Ardara, County Donegal.
The event was organized by Cuba Support Group and the Cuban Embassy in Ireland and was attended by independent deputies Thomas Pringle, Maureen O'Sullivan and Catherine Connolly, among others.
Photographic exhibition for the Day of Cuban Culture in Ireland
Ireland, October 9, 2017 A photo exhibition with images of Cuba was inaugurated on Saturday October 7 at the "Donegal Bay and Blue Stacks Festival" at the Abbey Center in the city of Ballyshannon in County Donegal.
The exhibition is the work of the artist Emer O'Shea, who took the snapshots on her trip to Cuba in 2016 and will remain open until October 28.

Today An Post put up for sale a postage stamp for the 50th anniversary of the death of Ernesto Che Guevara, decided by examination of an independent committee, the Committee (PAC), which recommended its inclusion among the themes of the 2017 annual program, after which the Board of Directors ratified it, was sent to the Government for final approval.
