Santiago de Cuba, Cuba, 1 August 2021. The province’s health system received today from Jamaica a donation of medical supplies to combat Covid-19, from Cuban health professionals and solidarity activists in that Caribbean nation.

At the Antonio Maceo International Airport, Héctor Mustelier, from the International Relations Department in the provincial division of the Ministry of Public Health, thanked the gesture that provides much-needed means to care for patients infected with the SARS-COV-2 coronavirus.

Kingston, Jamaica, 27 July 2021. The collective of the Cuban Embassy in Jamaica celebrated the National Rebellion Day on July 26 at noon. In a brief but very emotional event held at the headquarters of the Diplomatic mission, staff members reaffirmed their commitment to the homeland and to the defence of the conquests of the Revolution, and expressed their solidarity with the Cuban people's struggle against the Covid-19 pandemic. They also condemned the US blockade and the aggressions promoted from abroad to subvert constitutional order in the island.

Professor Trevor Brown, president of the Jamaica Cuba Friendship Association, Dr. Neville Graham, a medical graduate from one of our country’s colleges, and Alexander Scott, director of the Left Alliance for National Democracy and Socialism (LANDS), participated yesterday afternoon in the Virtual Caribbean Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba organized by the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP).

Kingston, Jamaica, July 15 2021. For over 60 years, Cuba has been living under near-daily attacks from the US which has sought to openly overthrow the Government by utilising a blockade against the island.

The blockade against Cuba has robbed it of wealth and development, and for over 30 years has been condemned by the UN General Assembly as illegal and against international law. This condemnation was reaffirmed on June 23 by 184-member nations.
