Letter to the Communist Party of Cuba on its 8th Congress:
We send a special salute to the Communist Party of Cuba on the occasion of its eighth Party Congress. The Communist Party of Cuba serves as an inspiration to us more than any other organisation that still exists in the world today. Despite the challenges caused by the wrath of imperialism, Cuba is a standing example of what Socialism can look like, and Cuba’s achievements continue to be noticed by anti-Capitalists all over the world, but especially in the Caribbean.
Former Prime Minister ofJamaica commends Cuba's progress in the development of COVID-19 vaccine candidates
Kingston, Jamaica, 12 April 2021. Former Prime Minister of Jamaica Percival James Patterson reiterated his appreciation to Cuba for the advances that the Greatest Island in the Antilles has made in the research and development of COVID 19vaccine candidates.
In a message sent to the Cuban Ambassador in Jamaica, the prominent Jamaican leader expressed: "Allow me to extend my warmest congratulations to Cuba for its magnificent and spectacular progress in the development of Covid 19 vaccines despite the tremendous difficulties faced by the country. "
Minister of Health of the Turks and Caicos Islands meets with Cuban doctors and nurses
The Turks and Caicos Islands, 9 April 2021. The Vice Premier and Minister of Health, Agriculture, Sports and Human Services of the Turks and Caicos Islands, Mr. Erwin Jay Sanders, visited the Interhealth Canada Hospital this morning and met with Cuban doctors and nurses who provide services in that institution.
The minister reiterated the gratitude of the Turks and Caicos islanders and the Government for Cuban professionals’ important contribution to the public health system of this British overseas territory.
