Reaffirmed that Cuba is Alive during the National Scientific Forum of the Medical Mission in Jamaica

The 15th National Scientific Forum of the Cuban Medical Mission in Jamaica was held today at the National Chest Hospital in Kingston. Within the framework of the Forum, the members of the Cuban Medical Brigade sent congratulations and words of encouragement to the Cuban people, who victoriously face the difficulties imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic and the imperialist aggressions, reaffirming every day that Cuba is Alive, and Moves forward!

Kingston, Jamaica, 13 November 2021. The 15th National Scientific Forum of the Cuban Medical Mission in Jamaica was held today at the National Chest Hospital in Kingston.

From September through October, all 25 cooperation brigades carried out their basic scientific events. A total of thirteen scientific papers were selected for presentation in this national event, in the modalities of conferences and posters.

Kingston, Jamaica, 13 November 2021. Today the Coordinator of the Cuban Education Brigade in Jamaica, Professor Reynel Isalgue, made a tour of the parishes of Clarendon and Saint Catherine, to exchange with teachers, members of the brigade, who teach Spanish and other subjects in schools in those regions.

During the visits, the Brigade Coordinator exchanged with teachers about the methodological preparation, the quality of the teaching-learning process and the techniques for an optimal use of the different digital platforms.

Members of the Cuban Medical Brigade in the Turks and Caicos Islands pay tribute to the Lord of the Vanguard

Yesterday afternoon all members of the Cuban Medical Brigade in the Turks and Caicos Islands paid tribute to the Lord of the Vanguard, Commander Camilo Cienfuegos Gorriarán, 62 years after that unfortunate day in which he physically disappeared.

Yesterday afternoon all members of the Cuban Medical Brigade in the Turks and Caicos Islands paid tribute to the Lord of the Vanguard, Commander Camilo Cienfuegos Gorriarán, 62 years after that unfortunate day in which he physically disappeared. Cuban health professionals once again demonstrated their commitment to the homeland, its history and its heroes, by remembering the sacrifices made and struggles fought by the also called the Hero of Yaguajay.

Seven Jamaican entities, public and private, attended the first edition of the Forum in 2020, honoring, in times of COVID-19, the historical presence of Jamaica in the International Fairs of Havana (FIHAV).
