Cuban Ambassador in Nairobi was received by the KNCCI President

Nairobi, October 25, 2022- The Cuban Ambassador to Kenya, Juan Manuel Rodríguez Vázquez, and the III Secretary Edisleydi Curbelo Garcia, held a meeting with Richard Ngatia, Kenyan President of the Chamber of Commerce, and Patrick Nyangweso, Chief Operating Officer. The two sides agreed in the existing potentials to develop cooperation relations in different fields. The attendance of a Kenyan delegation to Havana International Fair (FIHAV 2022) was one of the central topics of the meeting.

Cuba and Kenya: 27 years of diplomatic relations

Nairobi, October 19, 2022- The Embassy of Cuba in Nairobi salutes the 27th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Cuba and Kenya, that October 19, 1995. The bilateral ties between the two countries have been maintained uninterrupted to this day and together we work towards their consolidation.

Cuban embassy in Kenya commemorates the 154th anniversary of the start of the independence war

Nairobi, October 11, 2022- In a moving act officials, Cuban and native workers of the Embassy of Cuba in Kenya, commemorated the historical dates our country remembers every October. The 154th anniversary of the start of the independence war, on October 10th, 1868, and the valuable support of the African brothers to our struggle for national freedom, were especially remembered.

Nairobi, October 7, 2022- The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to Kenya, Juan Manuel Rodríguez Vázquez, was received by the President of the National Olympics Committee of Kenya (NOC-K), Paul Tergat. Third Secretary of the Cuban Embassy, Edisleydi Curbelo Garcia and other executives of NOC-K as Mr. Francis Mutuku, Secretary General; Mr. Maluki, First Vice President; Mr. Kioni, Second Vice President; and Peter Ciira, Third Secretary Cadet, Americas and the Caribbean Directorate MFA, also attended the meeting.

Cuba welcomes the resumption of talks between the Government of Colombia and the ELN

Declaration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba

Havana, October 4, 2022- The Government of Colombia derogated the INTERPOL warrants of arrest as well as the notes of international requests for cooperation and alerts issued against the members of the Peace Delegation of the National Liberation Army (ELN, by its Spanish acronym) and cancelled the requests made to Cuba for the extradition of the members of said delegation who were stayed in our country.
