The Ambassador of Cuba, Enna Viant, participated in the ceremony on the occasion of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Vientiane Times newspaper, which was presided over by the Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, Mrs. Suansavanh Vignaket, representatives of other media outlets, National Television, Radio, and various representatives of sectors of Lao society as well as accredited embassies who have accompanied and supported the work of this important foreign language media outlet.

Laos promotes business-friendly environment and development at Forum held in the capital
Vientiane April 2024. The Ambassador of Cuba, Enna Viant, participated in the interesting 15th edition of the Business Forum, a meeting chaired by the Hon. Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone. Sectoral ministries, the Lao National Chamber of Commerce, representatives of the Lao business sector, international NGOs, United Nations agencies, Australian and European Union Business Chambers and embassies participated, among others.

A message of confidence in the Cuban Revolution and support to Cuba and its battle to put an end to the US embargo and the rejection to the inclusion of Cuba in the list of sponsored terrorism countries, was sent by the president of the Friendship Association Laos-Cuba and the Parliamentary Committee of Friendship Dr. Chaleun Yiapahoer and the President of Lao Committee for Peace and Solidarity Sommad Pholsena. They ratified the continuous support in the battle carried out all over the world, including inside the US territory.
