Laos commemorates the 172nd anniversary of National Hero José Martí
Vientiane, January 28, 2025. The Embassy of Cuba and the Laos-Cuba Friendship Association commemorated the 172nd anniversary of National Hero José Martí, at the Laos-Cuba Friendship School.
A basket of flowers in front of his bust facing the sun, as reflected in his Simple Verses, was an expression of the solemn act and heartfelt tribute to the most universal of all Cubans.
We remember the significance of his phrase "For the balance of the World" whose motto peace and democracy, will be the theme of the conference with that name to be held in Havana from January 28-31, 2025

In the face of the imperialist onslaught, Cuba will win
Vientiane, Enero 22, 2025. US President Donald Trump has been attacking Cuba from day one and without any pretext. The decision to reestablish the iron-clad economic war measures against Cuba, which his predecessor eliminated only days before, is a demonstration of the aggressiveness of US imperialism against the sovereignty, peace and well-being of the Cuban population. Among them is the inclusion of our country, once again, in the arbitrary list of States that supposedly sponsor terrorism, a designation that shows an absolute disregard for the truth.

Vientiane, January 18, 2025 The Lao friends ratify once more the unconditional support to Cuba and the Statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of MINREX dated of 14 December 2025.
The mesures are in the correct way but not enough.

Cuban Ambassador pays a courteasy call to the new Minister of Foreign Affairs
Vientiane, Diciembre 14, 2024. A pleasant courtesy call to the recently appointed Minister of Foreign Relations Com. Kaysone Phomvihane Phomvihane. Both side agree on the positive assessment of bilateral relations and the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations celebration. I thanks the consistent Laos's support for the elimination of the blockade which damages the Cuban people's rights to the development.
