Cuban Ambassador Jorge León Cruz was received by Hanna Ghareb, Secretary General of the Lebanese Communist Party (PCL) and held a fraternal meeting in which they discussed the preparations for the meeting of the Working Group of the International Meeting of Communist and Workers' Parties (EIPCO) to be held in Beirut on June 29.
The Lebanese party leader also expressed interest in continuing to work for the development of inter-party ties between the PCL and the PCC.

During a fruitful meeting held by Ambassador Jorge León Cruz with Hani Chemaytelli, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Abroad of the Lebanese Republic, the interest in continuing to work for the strengthening of bilateral relations between Cuba and Lebanon was confirmed.
Both sides reviewed the excellent level of bilateral relations and also welcomed the close cooperation and coordination in international events and forums.
