Cuban Foreign Minister congratulates his Lebanese counterpart for his appointment
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, sent a congratulatory message to his Lebanese counterpart Nassif Hitti, for his appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants of the Lebanese Republic.
In the letter Rodríguez Parrilla reaffirmed the interest of the Greater Antilles to continue developing and strengthening the historical bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two nations.

Friendship Association Lebanon-Cuba condemns aggressive US actions against the island
The Friendship Association Lebanon-Cuba issued an statement expressing its condemnation of political pressures and the blockade of the USA against the island.
He also rejected the strong pressures exerted by Washington on countries in Latin America to affect their relations with Cuba, and thus intensify the political and economic siege. In that sense, he condemned the decision of the coup government of Bolivia to suspend its diplomatic relations with Cuba and to expel Cuban doctors from its territory, against the own interests of the Bolivian people.
Cuba and Lebanon reaffirm willingness to enhance bilateral ties
Beirut, January 30, 2020. The new Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emmigrates of Lebanon, H.E. Nassif Hitti, received Cuban Ambassador Alexander Pellicer Moraga at the Chancellery headquarters.
In the meeting both parties ratified the will to continue developing and strengthening the historical ties of friendship between both nations.

Meanwhile, Cuban Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, also congratulated the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lebanon, Gebran Bassil, the Cuban diplomat ratified the will of Cuba to strengthen the ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
