Cuban Head of Mission meets with the Deputy Minister of Administration of the Liberian Foreign Ministry.

Monrovia, August 16, 2024 - Cuban Head of Mission Mercedes L. Martínez Herrera held a meeting with the Honorable Gabriel H. Salee, recently appointed Deputy Minister of Administration of the Liberian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the exchange, the Liberian diplomat expressed his desire to work together to continue strengthening Cuba-Liberia bilateral ties.

For her part, the Cuban diplomat wished him success in his new task.

Cuban Embassy in Liberia bids farewell to Liberian students who will study Medicine at ELAM.

Monrovia, August 13, 2024 - The Cuban Embassy in Liberia commemorated the 98th birthday of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz with the celebration of a farewell meeting for the Liberian students who benefited from scholarships to study medicine in Cuba through the Scholarship Plan offered by the Cuban government as part of the cooperation with the African country.

Liberian medical graduates thank Cuba for their education.

Monrovia, August 6, 2024 - The two Liberian medical students who graduated this year in Cuba were awarded Gold Diplomas for their academic performance and integrity.

Both students thanked Cuba for their achievements and training.

The Liberian authorities conveyed their gratitude since thanks to the Cuba-Liberia Scholarship Plan the African country has benefited from graduates, engineers, doctors and health technicians; fruits of the bilateral relations between the two countries.

The List of States Allegedly Sponsoring Terrorism goes against the fundamental principles and peremptory norms of international law, including international solidarity. The process through which the designation is made is unclear and non-transparent.

It negatively affects the realization and enjoyment of fundamental human rights, including the rights to food, health, education, economic and social rights, the right to life and right to development.
