Mongolia and Cuba work together in the fields of Tourism and the Environment.

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. April 19, 2019. The new Minister of Environment and Tourism of Mongolia, Mr. N.Tserenbat, received the Ambassador of Cuba, Raúl Delgado Concepción, at the Government Palace in a working meeting whose main objective was give continuity to the strengthening of relations in this important sector for both countries. The Cuban Ambassador updated the Minister on tourism development on the island and the challenges facing the sector today considered the engine of the current Cuban economy from the sustained increase in the arrival of tourists to Cuba.

New Chairman of the State Great Khural of Mongolia receives the Cuban Ambassador.

The new Chairman of the State Great Khural of Mongolia (Parliament) Mr. Gombojavyn Zandanshatar, received today the Ambassador of Cuba Raúl Delgado Concepción at the Government Palace of the capital city of Ulaanbaatar, pointing from the beginning of the meeting the good state of the relations between both countries.

Cuban Ambassador participates in the presentation of the Policy Guidelines for Health in Mongolia.

Ulan Bator, Mongolia. April 9, 2019. With the participation of Mrs. L. Byambasuren Vice Minister of the Ministry of Health of Mongolia and Mr. B. Byambadorj, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Health of Mongolia, were presented the National Guidelines for the Implementation of the State Policy Plan for Health in Mongolia. With the collaboration of the Asian Development Bank and the Poverty Reduction Fund of the Government of Japan, the draft Implementation Plan of the Mongolian Health Policy for the period 2019-2024 was launched.

Byambasuren, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Health of Mongolia, opened the keynote address given by the Cuban specialist of the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, Dr. Yanisbel Ortiz Peña, 1st Degree Specialist in Angiology and Vascular Surgery, on the use and application of Heberprot P, medication for the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers in The First Hospital of Ulaanbaatar.

The training for doctors of The First Hospital of Ulaanbaatar on the use of Heberprot-P begins.

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. March 20, 2019. On the morning of Tuesday, March 19, the training program of the Mongolian medical specialists of The First Hospital of Ulaanbaatar for the use and application of the Cuban biotechnological product Heberprot-P began. As a result of the MoU signed on February 23, between this health institution, the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (CIGB) of Cuba and the Mongolian pharmaceutical company Mongolian Import and Export Concern, the training program will feature master classes, conferences and specialized consultations that will be given by Dr. Yanisbel Ortiz Peña, 1st Degree Specialist in Angiology and Vascular Surgery of the CIGB.

The Cuban Ambassador receives the Governor of Uvs Province.

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. March 7, 2019. The Ambassador of Cuba in Mongolia, Raúl Delgado Concepción, received today Mr. Batsaikhan Dayviinyam, Governor of the northwestern Mongolian province of Uvs. Elected on July 15, 2016 as Governor of this province, Mr. Dayviinyam serves as the highest figure of the Mongolian State and Government in that territory that has a population of 82,604 inhabitants in an area of 69,585.39 km2 which makes the Population density per 1.2 inhabitant per km2.

Byambasuren, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Health of Mongolia, received today the Ambassador of Cuba, Raúl Delgado Concepción, at a meeting in which were discussed matters related to bilateral cooperation in public health between our two nations Among the topics discussed during the meeting was the willingness of Cuba to continue working in the areas of training of human resources, medical prevention and Cuban biotechnological pharmaceuticals among other topics.

In an emotional and joyful ceremony, the best works of the seven different contests celebrated between the 6th and 12th grade students were awarded. As every year, the board of this institution presents different initiatives to celebrate this important date for this educational center and for Cubans.

The application of Heberprot-P will begin at The First Hospital in Ulaanbaatar.

With the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between The First Hospital of Ulaanbaatar, IMPEX Concern and the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (CIGB) will begin the application of the new Cuban treatment for diabetic foot ulcers to the patients in this public hospital of the capital of Mongolia.

Mr. Bat-Erdene Badmaanuambun, Member of the Great State Hural of Mongolia (Parliament of Mongolia) and Chairman of the Parliamentary Friendship Group Mongolia-Cuba, held a meeting at the legislative headquarters with the Ambassador of Cuba, Raúl Delgado Concepción.
