Ulan Bator. June 22, 2018. The Ambassador of Cuba in Mongolia, Raúl Delgado Concepción held a meeting today with the three young Mongolians selected for further studies on the island as part of the cooperation program that Cuba offers annually to this Asian nation.
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. June 16, 2018. The Association of Young Mongol Graduates in Cuba organized a voluntary work day in Ulan Bator to clean the banks of the Tuul River of garbage and waste. The works also served as a tribute to the heroic guerrilla Ernesto Che Guevara and in commemoration of his birth. This initiative is part of the activities programmed by the Association to contribute to the awareness in favor of the cleanliness of the city and as a modest contribution to the recycling of plastic waste that is thrown on the banks of the river.

Three Cuban medical specialists began work this week at the INTERMED Hospital in the city of Ulan Bator, as part of the agreement signed between that entity and Cuban Medical Services. Motivated by the advances in medicine and the health indices reached in the largest island of the Antilles, the INTERMD Hospital executives traveled to Cuba last year to sign the contract that will allow medical specialists from our country to work and contribute their knowledge to development health services in Mongolia.

The National News Agency of Mongolia MONTSAME and the Latin American Press Agency (Prensa Latina) signed today a cooperation agreement that will allow the exchange of news and collaboration in the area of journalism between both countries. Mrs. Ganchimeg Badamdorj, General Director of MONTSAME and Cuban Ambassador Raúl Delgado Concepción on behalf of the Latin American Press Agency signed the agreement that will allow both agencies to exchange their daily news dispatches in English language and via Internet.
