The General Director of the Department of Climate Change and International Cooperation Mr. Batjargal Khandjav, of the Ministry of Environment and Tourism, held a meeting at the Cuban Embassy in Mongolia with Cuban Ambassador Raúl Delgado Concepción, in which received information about the Cuban strategy of confronting climate change and its National Plan for mitigation and adaptation to this global problem.
Ulan Bator, November 6, 2018.- The President of the Mongolian Women’s Federation, OYUNGEREL Batnasan, along with other officials, visited the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in Ulan Bator where they had a pleasant meeting with the Cuban Ambassador.
The Cuban diplomat referred to the programs implemented by the Cuban Women Federation (FMC), aimed at achieving the full exercise of equality for women in all areas and levels of Cuban society as well as the possibility of establishing links and cooperation between both women's organizations.

The Mongolian company Silk Road celebrated its 15th anniversary this Friday in an event where the Cuban cuisine and cocktails were represented with one of its most emblematic restaurant in this city, the Mexikan-Guantanamera, which delighted those present with rich dishes of Cuban and Mexican cuisine. Other culinary institutions of the company to which the Cuban restaurant belongs participated in the event, which was very popular among the participants.

Mr. Ulziisaikhan Enkhtuvshin, Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia, received today the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, Raúl Delgado Concepción, in a meeting in which they reviewed the states of bilateral relations between both countries, as well as the possibilities to continue raising the level in them in the spheres of public health, education, culture and sports, and other opportunities for cooperation.
Ulan Bator, October 4, 2018.- As a culmination of her two weeks of work in Ulan Bator, Dr. Yanisbel Ortiz Peña, Specialist of 1st Degree in Angiology and Vascular Surgery of the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (CIGB), was invited by Dr. Baldorj Ochirkhuyag, Vice President of Cooperation, Research and Innovation, of the National University of Mongolia, to visit the Faculty of Microbiology of that university. During the visit, she was able to share her experiences of working in Mongolia with the teachers and students.

Dr. Yanisbel Ortiz, 1st Degree Specialist in Angiology and Vascular Surgery, Member of the Society of Angiology and Vascular Surgery of Cuba, began the training today for the specialists of the Songdo Hospital of Ulaanbaatar in the use and correct medical application of the novel Cuban product Heberprot-P for the treatment foot ulcers in diabetic patients.
