The Ambassador of Cuba in Mongolia met with executives of the Institute of Plant Protection Research
The Cuban ambassador in Mongolia. Jorge Ferrer met with Dr. Byambasuren Mijidsuren, Director of the Institute of Plant Protection Research and other scientists.
Both parties talked on the agricultural challenges of both countries and the possibilities of mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation, including the Memorandum of Understanding for Cooperation between the Institute and LabioFam Asia Ltd.

After the resumption of the school year, the Cuban Ambassador to Mongolia, Jorge Ferrer, visited School No. 52 José Martí in this capital, in the context of the 171st anniversary of the birth of our National Hero.
He met managerss of the center led by its Director, Mrs. Tseenkhand Lumben, to exchange views on the activities for the year 2024 related to Cuba and in tribute to Martí.
II International Congress and Trade Fair BioHabana 2024, April 1 to 5, 2024
From April 1 to 5, 2024, the II International Congress and Trade Fair BioHabana 2024 will take place at the Convention Palace in Havana, Cuba, under the motto “Science for a Healthy Life”, in which you can participate in person or virtually.
The event will bring together prominent international experts from the scientific, medical, biotechnological, agricultural, computer science and business communities.
Ambassador of Cuba visits the Union of Mongolian Artists and its Gallery
The Ambassador of Cuba, Mr. Jorge Ferrer, visited the headquarters of the Union of Mongolian Artists and its galery, accompanied by Mr. Ganbat Purev, its President and the head of international relations, Mr. Batjil Bayar.
Both parties continued to exchange about the XV Havana Biennial of visual arts that will take place from November 15, 2024 to February 28, 2025. The President of the Union of Mongolian Artists gave him a book of works of plastic arts and Mongolian artists.
The Latin American School of Medicine (ELAM) and the Medical Studies program in Cuba have been internationally accredited for 6 years
The International Evaluation and Accreditation Committee (CEAI) of the Union of Universities of Latin America and the Caribbean (UDUALC) accredited internationally the Latin American School of Medicine (ELAM) of Cuba and its Medicine study program for 6 years.
This recognition supports the quality of medical professionals graduated in Cuba by ELAM, founded 24 years ago, in a former naval academy 25 km from Havana.
