Esteban Lazo Ratified as President of the Cuban Parliament

HAVANA, Cuba, Apr 19 (ACN) In a constitutive session, the National Assembly of People's Power of Cuba (Parliament) in its 10th Legislature ratified Esteban Lazo Hernández as president of that body and of the Council of State, who will serve for a five-year term.

HAVANA, Cuba, Apr 19 (ACN) Miguel Mario Díaz-Canel Bermúdez was elected this Wednesday for a second term as President of the Republic of Cuba during the Constitutive Session of the National Assembly of People's Power (ANPP) in its 10th Legislature, held at the Convention Palace in Havana.
The Cuban Ambassador in Mongolia met with the director of the Department of International Treaties and Foreign Cooperation of the Ministry of Justice and Internal Affairs
The Ambassador of Cuba in Mongolia, Jorge Ferrer, met with the director of the Department of International Treaties and Foreign Cooperation of the Ministry of Justice and Internal Affairs, Mr. Bilguun Burentegsh.
Both parties discussed the conclusion of the negotiation of two mutual legal assistance agreements and the status of the process of other legal cooperation draft agreements.
Cuban Ambassador in Mongolia met with the Minister of Environment and Tourism
The Cuban ambassador in Mongolia, Jorge Ferrer, met with the Minister of Environment and Tourism, Bat-Erdene Bat-Ulzii. The Acting Head of the Department of Tourism Policy and Regulation, T.Munkh-Od, Senior Analyst, E.Enkhmaa, and Senior Specialist of the Department of Foreign Cooperation of the Ministry, B.Battsetseg, were also present.
Cuban ambassador in Mongolia met with the President of the National University of Mongolia (NUM)
The Cuban ambassador, Jorge Ferrer met with Dr. Badarch Dendev, President of the National University of Mongolia. Dr. N. Batnasan, Dean of the Business School, Mr. Munkh Namsrai, Head of the Department of European Studies and Uyanga Tsenddorj, Postgraduate Education Officer were also present.
Both parties discussed the possibilities of cooperation between the Universities of both countries, as well as the implementation of existing collaboration agreements, identifying areas of common interest.
