In honor to the 166th Anniversary of the Birth of our Apostle José Martí, a lecture was given at the National University of Mongolia, by the Cuban Ambassador Raúl Delgado Concepción in coordination with the Chair of Diplomatic Studies of said center high studies. Professors and academics from that faculty participated and members of the Association of Mongolian Graduates in Cuba also were among the audience.

Cuba and Mongolia celebrate Political Consultation meeting between Ministries of Foreign Affairs
CUBA, January 19, 2019.- The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Marcelino Medina González, received on Saturday the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, Davaasuren Damdinsuren, within the framework of the celebration of the Political Consultations mechanism between Ministries of Foreign Affairs of both countries.

On January 16, 2019, the US State Department announced the decision to suspend, only for 45 days, the implementation of Title III of the Helms-Burton Act, “in order to conduct a careful review …in light of the national interests of the United States and the efforts to expedite a transition to democracy in Cuba, and include factors such as the Cuba’s regime’s brutal oppression of human rights and fundamental freedoms and its indefensible support for increasingly authoritarian and corrupt regimes in Venezuela and Nicaragua.”
The 60th Anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution was celebrated in Mongolia.
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. January 8, 2019. With the presence of the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Hon. BATMUNKH BATTSETSEG, the official commemoration for the 60th Anniversary of the Cuban Revolution took place in this city. The reception was also attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Mongolia, the Cuba - Mongolia Friendship Association, the Association of Mongolian Graduates in Cuba, the Mongolian Association for Peace and Friendship, as well as the small community of Cubans residing in this country.
