Declaration by Cuba’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the recognition by the United States of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba expresses its deepest concern at and utter rejection of the US president's unilateral declaration of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, which constitutes a serious, flagrant breach of the UN Charter, of international law and of the relevant UN resolutions.

The Embassy of Cuba in the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Consulate of Cuba in Rotterdam inform that they willl remain closed on December 25 and January 1 and 2 for the holidays and the celebration of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution respectively.
The Embassy and the Consulate will resume their activities on December 26, which will be the last day the Consulate will provide services in 2017.
Both the Embassy and the Consulate will resume their activities on Wednesday January 3, 2018.
Information of interest from the Consulate of Cuba
The Consulate of Cuba in Rotterdam informs that consular services will open until December 26, 2017. However; December 25 is a National Holiday so the Consulate will remain closed that day.
Likewise; the Consulate will remain closed on January 1 and 2 for the National Holidays. The Consulate of Cuba will resume activities on January 3, 2018.

De ambassade van Cuba in het Koninkrijk der Nederlanden hield een emotionele avond voor de Dag van de Cubaanse Cultuur samen met het Spaans-Amerikaans Genootschap te Rotterdam (AHA) .
De viering begon met een toelichting aan de gasten over de historische oorsprong van 20 oktober als de Dag van de Cubaanse Cultuur en werd voortgezet met een kleurrijke documentaire over de belangrijkste festivals die door heel Cuba gevierd worden.
