Visit to the Netherlands Ministry of Culture, Education, and Science

The Hague, September 24, 2025. Cuban Ambassador Eva Yelina Silva Walker visited the headquarters of the Netherlands Ministry of Culture, Education, and Science and held a fruitful exchange with its Director of International Relations, Nathalie Jaarsma.

The Cuban diplomat shared information on the development of these important areas in Cuba, as well as on international events hosted on the Caribbean island, such as the Caribbean Festival, the International Book Fair, the Havana Ballet Festival, Jazz Plaza, and the Havana Biennial, among others.

Young Cuban medical students begin internships at Leiden University in the Netherlands.

The Hague, September 9, 2025. This September, Ana Karla Garzón and Alejandro Méndez, fourth-year medical students, began a preparatory course at the prestigious University of Leiden.

The course, which will run for three months, will include neurosurgery practice as a method of learning and training, and will contribute to the exchange of experiences on surgical techniques, principles, theories, technologies, and experiences applied by doctors in both countries. It will also contribute to scientific development and the promotion of the respective health systems.

Cuban Embassy participates in Horticulture event in the Netherlands

Westland, September 10, 2025. The Office of the Mayor's Office of Westland, in the

Netherlands, together with the diplomatic magazine, organized an event on horticulture in which the Embassy of Cuba was present in that country.

The event was development in the Dutch company Koppert Cress, specialized in the production of seeds, vegetables and flowers in the so -called "Green Houses".
