Cuban Embassy participates in celebration of International Workers' Day.

Nigeria. May 1, 2021. Invited by the NLC (Nigerian Workers 'Congress), the Embassy of Cuba participates in celebration of International Workers' Day. During the event, the demands of the Nigerian Trade Union Movement in the interest of strengthening workers' rights were made clear.

The African Union condemns the continuation of the US blockade against Cuba

Abuja, February 8, 2021. The Assembly of the African Union made up of the Heads of State and Government of Africa, approved the “Resolution on the lifting of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed on the Republic of Cuba by the United States from America".

The text expresses deep concern about the continuity of the blockade and expresses its full support for the Resolution that the UN General Assembly passes each year on the subject.

Ambassador of Cuba is received by the Minister of the Interior of Nigeria.

Abuja, February 3, 2021. Ambassador of Cuba in Nigeria, Clara M. Pulido Escandell is received by the Honorable Rauf Aregbesola, Minister of the Interior of Nigeria.

During the meeting they discussed issues of the current international situation and the battle that both countries are waging against COVID19. Likewise, they agreed to continue strengthening friendship and collaboration relationships.
