Reaffirming their strongest rejection of economic coercive measures not supported by the International Law, including all those unilateral actions imposed on sovereign countries for political reasons that impair the well-being of their peoples and are designed to prevent these countries from exercising their right to decide, by their own free will, their political, economic and social systems.
Minister of Finance of Nigeria received to the Cuban Ambassador
On Thursday, January 19, the Minister of Finance of Nigeria, Kemi Adeosun, received the Cuban Ambassador, Carlos Trejo Sosa, at the headquarters of the institution. The meeting took place in a friendly ambience, in keeping with the relationship between two countries.
Ambassador Trejo offered an update on the Cuban economy and the opportunities that our country has in different sectors, from which bilateral collaboration could be established, especially at health and education.

The Cuban Ambassador Carlos Trejo Sosa offered an exclusive interview to the Daily Trust. The journalist focused his questions mainly on the bilateral relations, which allowed the Cuban diplomat to analyse the possibilities to take them to the economic sphere and further strengthening all the elements related to them.
Also, the Ambassador mentioned the historical, cultural and religious ties between both countries, whose diplomatic relations were established more than 40 years ago and remain in excellent condition.
