Addis Ababa, May 10, 2024. The delegation of the Higher Institute of International Relations of Cuba (ISRI), led by Dr. C. Leonel Caraballo Maqueira, Vice-Rector for Research and Postgraduate Studies, and made up of Ambassador Eumelio Caballero Rodríguez, Director of International Relations, successfully completed its working visit to Ethiopia.
After a path of talks established with the Institute of Foreign Relations of Ethiopia, in which the potentialities of academic cooperation between both diplomatic institutes were discussed, the Ambassador of Cuba, Jorge F. Lefebre Nicolás signed on behalf of ISRI an instrument of cooperation together with the highest representation of the host Institute, H.E. Mr. Jefar Bedru Geletu, Chief executive officer.
The MoU established between the two diplomatic academies will provide a solid basis for fostering cooperation between the two diplomatic academies.
Both parties immediately designated the focal points who will be responsible for designing mutually beneficial cooperation actions as soon as possible, following a priority criterion.
