Dili, October 23, 2026. Milena da Costa Rangel, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Timor-Leste, received Alina Aldama, head of the Cuban State Mission.
During the cordial meeting, both representatives discussed issues of mutual interest and emphasized the strengthening of ties of friendship and solidarity between the peoples of Timor-Leste and Cuba.

The executive director of Covalima Hospital, Domingo de Fátima, accompanied by members of its Board of Directors, held a cordial working meeting with Cuban Ambassador Alina Aldama, who was accompanied by official José Heredia, the head of the Medical Brigade, Dr. Andrés Villar Bahamonde, and the Coordinator of Solidarity with Cuba, Dr. Joaquim de Jesús Vaz.
During the meeting, they reviewed aspects related to the cooperation Cuba provides to this East Timorese municipality, where a team of Cuban healthcare professionals is providing services.
