Cuba Updates List of Individuals and Entities Sought for Terrorism Links
Senior Cuban officials announced on Wednesday an update to the national list of individuals and entities subject to criminal investigations and sought by the island's authorities for terrorism links.
During a press conference in Havana, authorities announced that a letter was delivered to the Secretary-General of the United Nations (UN) listing the names of individuals and entities involved "in promoting, planning, organizing, financing, supporting, or committing acts carried out in the national territory or in other countries for the purpose of terrorism."

The anti-Cuban document released by the U.S. government on June 30, 2025 consists of a reissue and amendment of National Security Presidential Memorandum No. 5 that the U.S. government itself had issued on June 16, 2017, at the beginning of Donald Trump's first term in office.
Cuba categorically denounces and rejects both versions of the infamous document.

A strong message was delivered today at the Human Rights Council by a group of 64 countries, which highlighted the fundamental role of international medical cooperation in the realisation of the human right to health and its contribution to saving the lives of millions of people around the world.
At the same time, the nations expressed their firm rejection of any attempt to deprive peoples of the benefits of international medical cooperation and solidarity, for political or any other reasons.
