Royal Canadian Navy Patrol Vessel ‘HMCS Margaret Brooke’ to arrive in Cuba
The patrol vessel ‘HMCS Margaret Brooke’ of the Royal Canadian Navy will call on Havana´s port this June 14. The visit, which will extend until June 17, will be taking place on the occasion of the eightieth anniversary of our uninterrupted diplomatic relations with that country and the fiftieth anniversary of our bilateral cooperation.
This vessel belongs to a new series of ships that was recently introduced in the Royal Canadian Navy. Its visit to our country highlights bilateral cooperation as a contribution to peace in our region.
Training Ship ‘Simón Bolivar’ to arrive in Santiago de Cuba
Training ship ‘AB Simón Bolívar’ will visit the port of Santiago de Cuba from June 15 to 19 this year. This visit takes place as part of the Thirty Fourth International Training Voyage in 2024.
Ambassador of Cuba holds a meeting with an official from the Food Section of the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD)
Oslo, June 10, 2024. The Ambassador of Cuba to the Kingdom of Norway, Maité Rivero Torres, held a meeting with Helle Biseth, official at the Food Section, of the Department of Climate and Environment, of the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD).
During the meeting, they exchanged on the cooperation program "Agriculture for Development", launched by NORAD last year based on Norway's strategy for promoting food security within the framework of its official development aid policy. (Embacuba Norway)
Cuban Ambassador to Norway exchanges with members of Thor Heyerdahl´s family

Peru: Integration and Diversity”, the Cuban ambassador to Norway, Maité Rivero Torres, once again had the pleasure of exchanging with several members of the family of the legendary Norwegian anthropologist and explorer Thor Heyerdahl.
Russian Federation Navy Vessels Group to arrive in Havana
A naval detachment from the Russian Federation consisting of four vessels –the frigate “GORSHKOV”; the nuclear-powered submarine “KAZAN”; the “PASHIN” fleet sea tanker and the salvage tug “NIKOLAI CHIKER”- will pay an official visit to the port of Havana from June 12 to 17, 2024.
This visit is consistent with the historically friendly relations existing between Cuba and the Russian Federation and strictly abides by the international regulations Cuba is a State Party to.
