Russian Federation Navy Vessels Group to arrive in Havana
A naval detachment from the Russian Federation consisting of four vessels –the frigate “GORSHKOV”; the nuclear-powered submarine “KAZAN”; the “PASHIN” fleet sea tanker and the salvage tug “NIKOLAI CHIKER”- will pay an official visit to the port of Havana from June 12 to 17, 2024.
This visit is consistent with the historically friendly relations existing between Cuba and the Russian Federation and strictly abides by the international regulations Cuba is a State Party to.
The United States has to take Cuba, once and for all, out of the list of states allegedly sponsoring terrorism
Statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
According to U.S. official media reports, on 15 May 2024, the country’s State Secretary submitted to the Congress one more of the arbitrary reports that normally describe countries without any international mandate or recorgnition. This time, he listed four countries who allegedly “do not fully cooperate with the United States antiterrorist efforts for the 2023 calendar year.” As opposed to what has happened in recent years, the list does not slanderously include Cuba among such countries.
Speaker of the Parliament of Singapore receives the Ambassador of Cuba.
Singapore, April 22, 2024. At the Parliament House of Singapore, its president, the Honorable Mr. Seah Kian Peng, received in a courtesy visit the new ambassador of Cuba in the City-State, Mrs. Lisbet Quesada Luna .
The President was interested in the most strategic issues on the bilateral agenda while expressing his willingness to strengthen and diversify interparliamentary relations. He referred to the potential that exists in the sectors of tourism, connectivity, functioning of Parliament, among others.
