On 28 and 30 September, Ambassador Ismara Vargas and First Secretary for Political Affairs Pablo Ginarte attended two events in Liverpool in solidarity with Cuba, organised by the Campaign for Solidarity with Cuba (CSC). These were parallel activities within the framework of the Labour Party's Annual Conference, on this occasion at the public meeting ‘Hands Off Cuba!’, which reaffirmed support for Cuban sovereignty and the humanitarian campaign Cuba Vive Medical Aid Appeal.

The Head of the Cuban Mission in Zambia, Marileydis Dueñas Morales, received at the Cuban Embassy Mr. Teison Stefan Musanje, Ms. Mumba Mukosha Margaret Bangwe, and Mr. Mweenzu Joshua Tembo, President, Vice President, and Chairperson, respectively, of the Zambian youth organization ZAYO, as well as Ms. Malele Chundu, Counselor.
On 8 July, the “Hands Off Cuba!” Fringe Meeting took place at the Brighton Centre, organised by Unite the Union and the Cuba Solidarity Campaign, bringing together trade unionists, young workers and friends of Cuba from across the United Kingdom.
London, 24 June 2025 - The Cuban Embassy in the UK was honoured to host the annual Friends of Cuba reception organised by the Cuba Solidarity Campaign (CSC). The event brought together Members of Parliament, trade union leaders, legal professionals and longstanding friends of Cuba for an evening of reflection, engagement and renewed support for the island's struggle against injustice.
